Fresh-r HRVs: The Clean Air Ventilation Solution for Existing Construction or Retrofit Projects
Small Planet Supply now offers Fresh-R HRV systems for our customers. These systems are an excellent choice for our customers who want to add an HRV to an existing build or as part of a retrofit, as they are designed differently than other HRV systems.
Instead of using tubing in walls or ceiling as a way to distribute fresh air within a home, it uses de-centralized in-wall units or on-wall units to bring air in and out of your home and forward ventilators (Fresh-r Forward) on interior walls to ensure fresh air is received in all rooms of your home or project.
Some key features of these systems include:
Fresh-r forward manages air between different rooms
Built-in CO2 sensors to ensure that the system ventilates as needed. Ventilation speed increases when needed and decreases when not.
Fresh-r systems use Fresh-R forward to manage air in multiple rooms with one heat exchanger (HRV) unit.
Fresh-r is able to keep working in freezing temperatures, avoiding the re-directing warm exhaust air work-around other systems have developed to work in freezing temperatures.
Fresh continuously monitors the air quality and energy savings. Data is accessible with an app, letting you view the data on your PC, tablet or telephone.
A MERV-14 filter keeps interior air clean, screening out even the tiniest particulates, a great feature for locations where air quality is a problem or occupants have allergy, hay fever or other respiratory issues.
